Our new building, named Fountains and Springs, is used for teaching, children's church, Bible study and cell group meetings like the one we have on a Tuesday morning for older folk.
Building was started before the Covid lockdown period and building continued even though the church was closed.
In Gayle's words: "We only opened officially at Rosh Hashanah in September - when all the finances we took in were used as a First-Fruit offering to Israel. Well, then God poured out all His financial Blessings and the building was completed in February 2021. Kidz on The Hill officially opened in April 2021 - all fully paid for - interior and exterior!
Such an amazing Centre too - We called the Building "Fountains and Springs."
The building that now houses the church and the grounds our new building are on used to be the old water works. After the building was completed a very special verse was laid on our hearts, not only for the new building, Fountains and Springs, but for the church as a whole.
Isaiah 41:18 NKJV
I will open Rivers in desolate Heights,
And Fountains in the midst of the valleys;
I will make the wilderness a pool of water,
And the dry land Springs of water.
For the activities in the new building we were reminded of this verse:
Isaiah 54:13 NKJV
All your Children shall be taught by the Lord,
And great shall be the Peace of your children.
